Artist Application
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of The Majestic Gallery, located in the heart of historic Idaho Springs, CO. Under new ownership, we’re excited to build a true community of artists, a space where people support each other, share ideas, and work together to create something greater than any one of us could alone. The Majestic is a working gallery operated like a cooperative, where artists actively participate in running the space. We are committed to building a collaborative environment where every member’s voice matters. Annual membership is $500 with a 70/30 commission split. 70 percent goes directly to the artist. All artwork must be original and created by the applying artist, though limited edition reproductions of your original art works are also welcome. To keep our offerings unique, members may not show or sell work at other galleries or art markets within the Idaho Springs area. As part of the community, artist members are expected to staff the gallery one day each month and help with basic upkeep like light cleaning and small maintenance tasks. This shared responsibility keeps The Majestic a welcoming, well-cared-for space that reflects the pride we take in our work. Every application is carefully reviewed. If selected for a jury slot, you will be invited to bring your work in to review in person by the jury committee. We are not looking for perfection, but passion, originality, and a willingness to be part of a collaborative gallery.
