Hannah Ervick

Hannah is an acrylic painter, travel enthusiast and animal lover residing right here in Idaho Springs. Her colorful fish paintings are inspired by exploring the magical coral reefs near her parents home in Kona, Hawai’i and by her husband and father in law who love fishing all around our beautiful state. She loves how a trout can be shrouded in shimmering silver from one direction and then display a multitude of rainbow colors when it catches the light.
Hannah attended a high school specializing in marine biology, lived abroad in Mexico studying marine mammals, and earned her degree in Environmental Policy. Hannah donates a portion of her art sales back to organizations that work to protect National Parks and natural habitats of the fish species found in her paintings. When she isn’t painting, Hannah enjoys slowly restoring their Victorian home here in town and volunteering at Charlie’s Place Animal Shelter.
