Jan Hammond
As a native of Colorado's vibrant Front Range, I draw endless inspiration from the breathtaking landscapes, changing skies, and natural textures that surround me. The colors of the mountains at sunrise, the shimmer of aspen leaves in the wind, and the quiet drama of a passing storm all find their way into my artistic expressions.
For many years, I have explored and created in a wide range of media, from the fluid movement of paint to the luminous qualities of glass and the captured moments of photography. Most recently, I’ve embraced the intricate and rewarding challenges of metal jewelry fabrication, working with hand-formed metals and semi-precious stones to craft pieces that feel both modern and rooted in the earth.
With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Art from the University of Western Colorado and continued study in various artistic disciplines, I’ve developed a unique style that reflects both my curiosity and my love of nature. I invite you to explore my work and visit often, as new creations are always in the works.
