Robin Shinn
Robin is a Colorado artist based in Golden who has been creating and selling artisan jewelry since 2010. Her work blends traditional techniques with contemporary flair, using processes like bead-stringing, wire work, rivets and cold connections, fusing, mixed media, and stone-setting. She studied metalsmithing at the Denver School of Metal Arts and continues to explore new methods in her craft.
Robin’s jewelry has been featured in member shows in Boulder, Old Town Arvada, and Golden, as well as guest artist exhibits at Ink Gallery in Belmar and Particulars Art Gallery in Lafayette. Each piece is handmade using hand-selected stones, sterling silver, mixed metals, and sometimes found objects—crafted to be unique, personal adornments.
Inspired by the natural beauty of stones and curious about form and color, Robin’s designs are both thoughtful and eye-catching. Her work is also available at Baby Does Clothing in Golden. When not in the studio, she’s often hiking Colorado’s scenic trails.
