Susie Drucker

Picture
As a young girl growing up near Lake Michigan in Illinois, Susie explored and admired the beaches and ravines near her home. This love of nature has been her inspiration as she’s developed from photographer to sketch artist to painter.
Starting in high school, Susie explored a variety of mediums. She studied fashion design at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, then continued her versatile art studies through workshops and local art programs.
Susie began painting full-time after moving to Evergreen, Colorado in 2014. Living in Colorado had been a dream of hers ever since her first view of the mountains during a childhood trip to Estes Park. Awed by the stunning mountainsides, Susie knew that her home—and her art—were meant to be out west.
Susie’s paintings capture the visual drama of shadows, unusual shapes, and unexpected colors in landscapes. Her goal is to share the joy that nature brings her, and pass on the essence of this special connection through her work.
